About
Hi! I'm Kaylee
I was born in Norfolk, Virginia on May 15th. I was raised in Montana for about 11 years then moved to Washington for another 10. My husband (Nicholas) and I recently moved here to Middleton Idaho where we have two cats and a German Shepard. As for the details, my favorite color is Blue, I love sushi, and I love listening to Vocal Jazz such as Michael Buble and Rock like Thirty Seconds to Mars. I also love movies, my husband and I go to the theaters quite frequently. I am the type of person who has seen most of the movies I own at least five times or more and will still watch them again and again. My favorites are Disney and Superhero movies!
I am the type of person who is crazy about her friends and family. I love to uphold family traditions and keep a hold of great family bonds and heirlooms. I am a sucker for the holidays especially when it comes to baking and spending time with the family.
As soon as the colors of the leaves start changing and you feel that brisk chill in the air, you just know it's time for caramel apple cider, scarves, and warming up next to a fireplace.
My passion and hobbies include arts and crafts as well as the occasional D.I.Y. I also have a passion for working with kids,
I graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelors in Art Education. My plans are to guide students through the process of making art, whether that entails expanding on prior knowledge and skills or digging deep to help find your child's inner artist. I will be there every step of the way to ensure every student's potential and your (the parents) needs. Like one of my favorite quotes says:
“Every artist was first an amateur” - Ralph Waldo Emerson
I want to be a mentor who can help shape the youth of our future into beautiful butterflies by becoming a Middle or High School Art Teacher. I believe the kids of today are the great minds of our future and it is my goal to support their dreams with support and kindness.

"A mentor is someone who sees more talent and ability within you, than you see in yourself, and helps bring it out of you."
- Bob Proctor
